As the residential area in Seedorfer Straße in Ratzeburg grows, so does the need for local childcare. A new daycare center is therefore to be built on a site near the church and an existing playground. The aim is to create additional capacity and develop a sustainable long-term solution for the childcare situation in the neighborhood. The client is the town of Ratzeburg.
The start of the project was marked by a joint kick-off and the structured preparation of the next planning steps. TePm put the project planning out to tender and awarded the contract, thus creating the planning basis for the construction project. As the project progressed, we took over the classic project management and ensured clear processes, transparent decision-making channels and reliable control of deadlines and costs.
The conflict between the requirements of the future sponsor, the economic framework conditions of the city and the structural conditions of the location creates a complex coordination process. This is precisely where we come in and create structure so that different expectations can be turned into a consistent overall concept.
The realization of the new daycare centre will create urgently needed childcare space and replace existing interim solutions in the long term. This will provide the neighborhood with a stable social infrastructure that will keep pace with the growth of the surrounding area.
